Nativity house  of Maria

The Nativity House of Mary is a structure  for the elderly and people in difficulty and is constituted  by two distinct modules: 1) protected residence
for non self-sufficient people, 2) residence  community for self-sufficient. The building is  owned by the Terni ATER company  (Territorial company for residential construction).

The house starts operating on October 1st  of 1999 and today it welcomes as a whole  54 people. In the years immediately following  the rehabilitation and physiotherapy services were activated. The consecrated sisters  of the Nazareth Community Association and voluntary groups offer religious service  and entertainment at different times of the year.

​

One of the advantages of this work is the good integration of the residence for the elderly in the  community of citizens of Morrano. This aspect has led to a constant presence of  volunteers who work in harmony with the services, integrating with the staff of the  work cooperative. The periodic theatrical, recreational and free time events  they are organized by animators who work with the intention of participating in outdoor activities.
